The daughter of the late Ghanaian actress and media personality Beverly Afaglo has spoken for the first time following her mother’s funeral, expressing gratitude to everyone who stood by the family during the difficult period.
In a heartfelt message shared on behalf of the family, Violin Bless Ayebea Boadu Baah acknowledged the emotional weight of laying their mother to rest and thanked all well-wishers for their presence and support.
“It was a very difficult time, but having you by our side brought us grace and strength.”
She said the family was deeply touched by the kindness and support shown throughout the funeral rites, adding that their presence meant more than words could adequately express.
The family also thanked those who travelled, reached out, offered prayers and supported them in various ways as they mourned Beverly.
Violin further prayed for blessings upon everyone who supported the family.
Beverly Afaglo passed away on May 24, 2026, aged 42, just days before her 43rd birthday. She was survived by her husband and two children.
Her final funeral rites were held at the Forecourt of the State House in Accra, following an earlier funeral service in Laurel, Maryland, in the United States.
The family has now begun the difficult period of coming to terms with her absence, while continuing to appreciate the outpouring of support that accompanied her final farewell.
