Real Madrid travel to Gelsenkirchen to face Schalke 04 today, Sunday, at 5:00 p.m. local time in Germany (11:00 a.m. ET in the United States) in their final preseason friendly. The match at the VELTINS-Arena is also part of the stadium’s 25th-anniversary celebrations.

For Real Madrid, this is their final chance to prepare the squad before their La Liga opener against Espanyol on August 22.

Schalke, meanwhile, will face Hallescher FC in the first round of the DFB-Pokal (the German Cup) on August 24.
