A 26-year-old man, Agbeko Julious, has allegedly been assaulted by a military personnel at Kyebi in the Eastern Region.
The incident reportedly occurred on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, while Julious was at a church making a phone call.
According to reports, the military personnel accused him of filming their operations at a nearby mining site and allegedly seized his mobile phone.
Julious reportedly sustained wounds to his back and arms during the alleged assault.
The Kyebi Police have since retrieved the mobile phone, while the victim’s family is calling for a thorough investigation into the incident and demanding
