Galatasaray are expected to complete the signing of Ermedin Demirovic within the next two days, according to Turkish football transfer expert Süleyman Rodop.

The Stuttgart striker is being lined up as a backup for Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen.

Providing an update on the deal, Rodop said Demirovic is likely to join the Turkish champions unless there is an unexpected change.

“Unless something unexpected happens at Galatasaray, Ermedin Demirovic will be Osimhen’s backup,” Rodop was quoted by Habersarikirmizi as saying.

“I think Galatasaray will have finalized the Ermedin Demirovic deal within 1-2 days.”

The development comes ahead of Galatasaray’s Super Lig match against Erzurumspor on Friday night.
