The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has approved the Parliament of Ghana’s plans to organise the 2026 Democracy Cup on Friday, August 28, 2026.
The match will kick off at 4:00pm at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
Ghana Premier League giants Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko have agreed to take part in the third edition of the Democracy Cup.
The match will be held to mark 32 years of parliamentary democracy in Ghana.
The GFA congratulated the Parliament of Ghana for supporting democracy and football development in the country.
The Football Association will announce the match officials for the game at a later date.
