Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey will wear the No. 18 shirt at Saudi Pro League side Al Shabab following his move to the club.
The 33-year-old has signed a one-year contract with Al Shabab after leaving Villarreal at the end of the 2025/26 season. The Saudi club officially announced his arrival on Friday.
Partey’s choice of shirt number has a familiar link to his career. He previously wore the No. 18 shirt during his first season at Arsenal after joining the Premier League club from Atletico Madrid in 2020.
The Ghanaian midfielder now begins a new chapter in Saudi Arabia, joining Al Shabab as a free agent on a deal that runs until June 2027.
