Nana Aba Anamoah rejects BlacVolta’s apology stance, questions advocacy pledge

Ghanaian media personality Nana Aba Anamoah has publicly criticised an apology issued by social media personality Joseph Adjei Junior, rejecting his stated intention to engage in advocacy on women’s issues.

BlacVolta issued a statement on Thursday, 14 May 2026, apologising for offensive content from his old social media posts after facing backlash online. The controversy resurfaced amid discussions surrounding his association with SoAfrican.

In his apology, he indicated plans to work with organisations in Ghana focused on gender-based violence awareness, women’s empowerment and digital responsibility.

Reacting on X, Nana Aba dismissed the proposal, questioning his credibility to take on such roles.

“No. You won’t do that. You don’t have what it takes to speak on behalf of any woman or child. Your fellow men don’t support it either. Go and seek professional help. You need it urgently,” she wrote.
