The Creative Arts Agency has described the late actress, Beverly Afaglo Baah as a significant figure in the country’s film and entertainment industry whose work inspired many young creatives.

In a statement, the Agency said it received the news of her passing “with profound sorrow,” adding that her contribution to Ghana’s creative arts sector would be long remembered.

Beverly Afaglo Baah was noted for her “dedication, professionalism, and passion for the arts,” which, according to the Agency, helped elevate the profile of Ghana’s entertainment industry.

“She was a remarkable talent whose contribution to Ghana’s creative industry… will forever be remembered,” the statement said.

The Agency extended condolences to her family, including her husband Choirmaster (Eugene Kwadwo Boadu Baah), their children, and colleagues across the entertainment fraternity.

It described her death as a “great loss” not only to her family but also to the wider creative arts community and the nation.

Signed by Acting Executive Secretary Gideon Aryeequaye, the statement said prayers were being offered for her peaceful rest and for strength for those she left behind.
