US-based comedian Michael Blackson has praised Ghana’s rising profile as a leading tourism and investment destination in Africa, describing the country as one of the most visited on the continent.
He made the remarks during his unveiling as brand ambassador for MCL Ghana’s Grand Panache real estate project, held at Palms by Eagles in Airport, Accra.
Blackson said Ghana’s tourism appeal continues to grow, stating the country receives over two million visitors annually and positioning it as a top destination for international travel in Africa.
He added that Ghana’s cultural identity, stability, and diaspora connections make it an attractive location for both tourism and long-term investment.
The comedian also encouraged members of the diaspora to consider returning home to invest in Ghana, stressing the need to strengthen economic and cultural ties between Africa and its global communities.
His comments come as Ghana continues to promote tourism, real estate development, and diaspora investment as part of broader economic diversification efforts.
