Dr Okoe Boye elected NPP’s Greater Accra Regional Chairman

Former Health Minister, Dr Okoe Boye has been elected Chairman of the New Patriotic Party in the Greater Accra Region.

Dr Okoe-Boye secured 490 votes to beat his contender, Alfred Boye, who polled 172 votes, giving him a decisive 318-vote victory in the regional executive elections held on Saturday, August 15.

His election comes at a time the NPP is rebuilding after a humiliating defeat in the 2024 elections.

The party will depend on Dr Okoe Boye’s experience to win back the love and seats in the Greater Accra Region.
