Newly elected Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, has pledged to involve all candidates who contested the regional elections, including those who lost, in his administration.

Appiah, popularly known as COKA, made the commitment during a meeting with defeated candidates from the just-ended Ashanti Regional NPP elections.

He said the election was over and urged members to put their differences behind them and work together to strengthen the party ahead of the 2028 general election.

“Now that the election is over, let us put the past behind us and join hands to build a stronger, more united party for victory in 2028,” he said.

COKA assured the defeated candidates that they would not be sidelined, stressing that their experience, ideas and commitment remained valuable to the party.

“To all the candidates who contested, especially those who did not win, there is a place for you in my administration. Your experience, ideas, and commitment are valuable to the party,” he said.

The Ashanti Regional chairman said he would not take the mandate given to him by delegates for granted and promised to lead with humility, unity and discipline.

He said the focus should now shift from the regional contest to rebuilding the NPP and preparing it to return to power in 2028.

“I will not take this mandate for granted. Together, we will work with humility, unity, discipline, and dedication to restore the NPP to power,” he said.

COKA said the meeting was part of efforts to ensure that no candidate or supporter felt excluded following the elections.

“All hands are on deck, and together, we will move forward as one united team. 2028 is our mission, and we are fully committed to it,” he said.
